Dr. Geoff Barrall, Chief Executive Officer
Geoff Barrall is a founder of Data Robotics Corporation and the designer of its core technology. Prior to joining Data Robotics, Dr. Barrall founded five companies, the most recent being BlueArc Corporation, the number three supplier of Enterprise NAS in the US. Geoff is an executive consultant to the senior team at Brocade Communications and sits on the board of advisors for Data Domain, NeoPath, and Nexsan.

Dr. Barrall earned his PhD in Cybernetics from the University of Reading, UK.

James Gardner, Senior Vice President of Operations
James Gardner brings over 20 years of operational experience to his role at Data Robotics. Previously, James served as VP of operations at Sling Media, Inc. where he managed global operations in North America, EMEA and AsiaPac and helped grow the business to a $380M valuation, resulting in a 2007 acquisition by EchoStar. Prior to Sling Media, James held senior titles at OQO, Handspring, Bindco, Quebecor and PMG.

James received his bachelors degree in business administration from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.

Jillian Mansolf, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Prior to joining Data Robotics, Jillian was VP of worldwide marketing and product management at Motion Computing. She has also served as AVP of Sales for Dell Computer, where she helped grow the Large Corporate Accounts Division revenues to over $2B. Other executive tenures include Maxtor Corporation, where she was VP of WW sales and marketing for the Network Storage Division and Snap Appliance where she was a co-founder and a member of the executive team in charge of the sale to Adaptec in 2004.

Jillian received her bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing from Long Beach State University.

Julian Terry, Chief Architect
Julian Terry is a founder of Data Robotics Corporation and is one of the principal architects for its core technology. Prior to Data Robotics, Julian was Head of Research at Phoenix Corporation and managed all engineering development and support for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Julian was Head of Engineering at DIP, where he was responsible for the design of the world’s first handheld PC compatible computer.

Julian earned his honors degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Bristol, UK.

Mark Herbert, Vice President of Engineering
Mark Herbert provides over 20 years of experience in engineering management and system development. Mark's recent experience was with Cradle Technologies as VP of System Engineering leading teams in both US and India in developing world class Multiprocessor DSP solutions and applications. Prior to Cradle, Mark was an early member of Redback Networks as Director of SMS Hardware Development leading the team through the Internet build-out and subsequent IPO.

Mark received his BSEE degree from University of Illinois and an MS in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University.
