Data Robotics is Selected to Present at "Launch: Silicon Valley 2007"
June 5, 2007 Event will Feature 30 Innovators Selected from Across Tech's Hottest Sectors
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — April 31, 2007 — Data Robotics today announced its selection as a featured demonstrator at "Launch: Silicon Valley 2007." The June 5, 2007 event, presented by The Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE), will offer 30 emerging tech companies the opportunity to demo their new products and share their visions with an audience of Silicon Valley's top movers and shakers.
Data Robotics, Inc. develops automated data storage technologies and products for consumers and small businesses. During "Launch: Silicon Valley", the company will formally introduce Drobo, the world's first robotic storage device, designed to take away the pain of storage management while ensuring data is always accessible.
Data Robotics was selected from 160 applicants by SVASE's advisory board of leading members of the Silicon Valley investment community, who looked for the most promising new startups in high-growth sectors including information technology, digital media, next generation internet, life sciences and clean energy. Culminating the event will be the “Launch: Silicon Valley 2007” award for the “most promising new company” in each of its six presenting categories.
"Launch: Silicon Valley", co-hosted by Garage Technology Ventures, will be held at the Microsoft Campus in Mountain View, CA. Selected companies will present on stage for ten minutes and have the opportunity to explain their products in more detail to the audience during planned networking breaks.
