Drobo Apps are a set of embedded applications and services that extend the capabilities of the Drobo 5N. Drobo has partnered with strategic application vendors and solution providers who offer features that will greatly enhance how users interact with their data.

Partners like copy.com provide Drobo customers the ability to synchronize their files to the cloud where they can be accessed from any Internet connected device. When content is added or updated while working remotely, those changes are not only sent to the cloud, but also replicated to the 5N. This two-way synchronization ensures that you always have the fastest possible access to the data. Additional benefits of integrated cloud storage include file versioning and recovery as well as simple group collaboration.

Like a Drobo, Drobo Apps are designed to be simple to install and configure. Installation is performed from within the Drobo Dashboard, and all applications are fully supported by Drobo and their technology partners.
