Connected Data is a VC backed Silicon Valley Technology start up with ground breaking technology that will re-shape the way we look at the Cloud.

We’re launching exciting new products, set to disrupt the file synch and share market and we’re looking for a talented Digital Marketing Manager to drive our EMEA growth through online channels.

Key responsibilities of the EMEA Digital Marketing Manager:

You will need to plan and execute customer acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns as well as defining and continually developing compelling campaigns that achieve defined business goals. Planning and implementing regional digital demand generation programmes which integrate the latest techniques in content marketing and social media is key to building marketing momentum and ensuring an ongoing sales pipeline for the region. In addition, it is crucial to measure and monitor marketing performance so you will need to be a real expert in marketing automation and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding the market and competitor landscape to formulate an effective strategy
  • Re-purpose content from corporate marketing and our regional PR agency to integrate into demand gen programmes.
  • Create compelling content and messaging for online lead generation programmes.
  • Manage marketing automation system, designing multi touch campaigns and reporting on ROI to defined metrics
  • Work closely with Inside sales to ensure all campaigns are followed up intelligently and in a timely manner
  • Create high quality video content to support key campaigns
  • Manage EMEA webinar programmes for partners and customers
  • Create up sell and cross sell campaigns to existing install base
  • Work closely with our Social Media marketing resource to align messaging and leverage common campaigns
  • Optimize SEO and PPC activity for the EMEA region
  • Create digital campaigns for our channel partners to leverage
  • Leverage blog posts across the EMEA region
  • Campaign Management; manage campaigns, utilising marketing automation software
  • Manage and track online promotions through our online store
  • Track campaigns through salesforce.com

Skills & experience

The successful candidate will be results-driven and willing and dedicated to go beyond the call of duty. That means that we require specific marketing skills:

  • You will have a university degree in marketing/communications or the equivalent in the area of business administration.
  • You will have 4-7 years working experience in a relevant area of IT
  • You excel in performance oriented metrics
    You have exceptional written and oral communication skills (and are likely to speak additional languages).
  • Excellent marketing execution skills gained in a EMEA B2B online/digital environment
  • Your vision is strategic and commercial. However, you are a pragmatic doer, supporting sales goals.
  • Demonstrable experience across social media, content creation & marketing automation gained working with a technology vendor or a technology focused B2B agency/online media company
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Project management skills

In addition, there are associated soft skills that are equally important. You will be accustomed to working autonomously, with little supervision. Anyone who knows you would describe you as team-oriented and great asset for the company. You are also willing and able to travel up to 30% as required. You are not only flexible; you have a sense for doing whatever is required, in order to ensure that the customer is happy. You love the atmosphere of working in a small team in a fast paced and growing environment.
