Product Marketing Manager

Overview

The Product Marketing Manager will be the outbound product champion for the Drobo product line targeted at prosumers, small-to-medium businesses and workgroups within larger organizations. This team member will work with Product Management, Engineering and Sales to drive overall go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own all outbound product marketing activities including market research, competitive analysis, positioning, messaging, pricing, collateral development, sales training, product launches, and EOL planning
  • Be the subject matter expert on all managed products
  • Create customer facing presentations, datasheets, solution briefs, case studies, technical briefs, and white papers
  • Develop comprehensive training materials that can be leveraged across the entire organization
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop use cases to define repeatable business opportunities that leverage the unique product capabilities

Qualifications

  • In depth knowledge of storage including RAID, DAS, NAS, SAN, iSCSI, and Virtualization
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, companies and markets
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with and manage cross functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, business or related field
  • 3-5 years of product marketing or product management experience
