If the Drobo does not power, on you may not be holding the power button long enough. Press and hold the power button on the back of the Drobo and hold for 3 seconds.
If you are using a UPS or surge protector and are still experiencing problems, try connecting the Drobo directly to the wall, bypassing the UPS or surge protector.
If the Drobo still does not power on, check the connection between the wall outlet and the Drobo to make sure it is secure. Additionally you may want to verify the outlet has power.
